Fruit Infused Coconut Water DIY Recipe ( Agua Fresca)

Hydration provides many benefits to our heath, appearance and focus. For some, the actual “non flavor” of plain water is what may get in the way of hydrating. Why not make hydration easy or fun. Today, I am sharing a simple recipe to make delicious fruit infused coconut water. This recipe works nicely for children and adults alike. You will Need: Blender Hand Held Mesh Strainer Fruit of your Choice (fruit that will yield high juice content, ex. berries, melon, citrus fruits) Recipe: 2 C. Coconut Water 3/4 C – 1 C Fruit Directions: Pour coconut water and fruit into a blender. Mix until the fruit is completely cohesive with the coconut water. Next, pour your fruit blended coconut water through a hand held mesh strainer to separate the pulp (store the pulp in the freezer for future smoothies). Store your fruit infused coconut water in the refrigerator to set one hour to increase the flavor content. You can double, triple and quadruple the recipe. Immunity Boost Body Wrap DIY at Home

Hi Friends, I love making body wraps at home. They are affordable, effective and pretty fun to incorporate into my monthly spa days. Recently, I have been under the weather with a cold. This cold featured a runny nose, congestion, sluggishness, and flashes of hot and cold. For this cold, I decided to avoid all over the counter medications and store bought remedies to put my body to the test. I have been doing a 30 day Vegan Challenge and wondered how my immunity was holding up. I generally will do a body wrap detox once a month and I wanted to create a body wrap that I could do specifically when I am feeling under the weather.  I was gifted some all natural products to test from GoPure Naturals, a great company that specialized in awesome all natural products for skin and hair. DIY Sports Bra I Easy Beginner Sewing

January cometh for alllll…bwa ha ha ha haaaa. And that means we are moving out of our holiday comfort food phase and adjusting to the cold weather to beat hibernation/ fitness negligence. I am of course referring to myself. Ok, so I made a sports bra to gear up for January and some of my fitness goals for 2015. It was rather simple and fun. I love the bright vibrant pink color fabric and I have done a few trips to the gym in this custom sports bra, all this to say it works and passes the jiggle test. I used 1 yard of Jersey performance fabric for this project (less was needed). Directions:   Fold the fabric double, then fold again to create a quadruple fold. Layer a bra or sports bra over the fabric and cut around the bra template. There should be 4 sports bra fabric shape templates. Match them in sets of two. Pin and sew around the sides, shoulders and tops leaving the bottom open. This leaves you with two …

Bee Pollen for Hair Growth?

  I have been a Bee Pollen believer for the last year and a half. I did several days of research to learn more about the different types of supplements available on the market and which ones were safe, and healthy. Generally I have noticed that everything in pill form is not actually made safe or completely what the label says it is supposed to be. Shopping healthy can be so confusing and overwhelming with all the marketing that goes into the “market it to sell no matter what” culture. I am starting to dig deeper into tips about what products deserve my family’s trust and how to quickly decipher that information with two little ones in a grocery store, health food store, vitamin shop etc. I will keep that information documented here as the information unfolds.
